Earth is not becoming less hospitable solely due to climate change. It is a prison for billions of people with increasingly strict regulations. If we do not take appropriate steps towards spreading civilization throughout the solar system, in a few hundred years we will be packed on this planet like sardines in a can roasted by the murderous sun, or as some might say, in an oven. Civilizational drift is the inertia of society and the 'concrete' of science, which does not allow the implementation of truly effective technologies. Our scientists are unable to handle off-planet transport technology in any way. Therefore, the threat will increase, adding local wars and epidemics of increasing intensity, fueled by the imperial ambitions of many countries, with which it will never be possible to reach an agreement, etc. This phenomenon is already clearly visible today. What is the use of the whole world if it is not habitable? Earth is the only planet in the solar system suitable for life without significant technical intervention. We have plenty of oxygen-rich air (21% of the total atmospheric composition), large amounts of clean water (especially in the Antarctic ice caps - 70% of the Earth's freshwater resources). All humans were born on this planet, so it is natural that in terms of anatomy and physiology we look the way we do, which is conditioned by factors such as gravitational acceleration 9.81 m/s², temperature allowing the existence of liquid water on the surface, and not denaturing organic protein, radiation shielded by a dense atmosphere and a strong magnetosphere (geomagnetic field). Perhaps in other regions of the Milky Way there are Earth-like planets, perhaps with better living conditions, but there is no identical Earth-like planet in our galaxy, there will certainly be some small differences, but home is always home. All misunderstandings, politics, economic and financial disputes are conducted within our planet without considering this one thought. Politics conducted without imagination can lead to the permanent ruin of planetary conditions enabling prosperous life for billions of people. The problem is, of course, the way food is obtained from the seas, land plantations, and how clean drinking water reservoirs are managed. There is still a lack of concise and effective planetary policy, including managing all the planet's resources so that every inhabitant has enough bread and all other goods, it should not be that some have an excess they cannot consume and waste it by throwing it away, while others suffer from hunger. This is a logistical and economic problem because transport is currently too expensive. Until we, as humans, master simple transport without the use of chemical thrusters, it will remain so.
