Fluids are substances of medium density, higher than gases and lower than solids, although there are exceptions, such as lithium, which is a solid but lighter than water. A liquid medium can respond to dynamic forces. In this case, this involves inertial effects, which arise when a liquid changes flow direction or velocity, or reacts to external forces such as centrifugal force or acceleration or deceleration in the liquid medium. Based on these phenomena, solutions capable of powering specific power-generating devices have been attempted in the past, both in aviation and in spaceflight. The pioneers of such solutions usually did not enjoy widespread recognition; rather, until modern times, they remained practically overshadowed by widely used technology and its proponents, the number of whom exceeded even the wildest expectations. Since Tesla's time, there has been no shortage of opponents of certain technologies with the potential to transform the problems of atmospheric and space flight. Tesla himself also held patents for devices such as turbines and pumps, which were unusual in design for the time. From the moment humanity began using coal, gas, and other energy sources to generate electricity in power plants, a shift away from so-called free energy began. The concept of free energy itself was rejected altogether, and technology neglected the sometimes revolutionary solutions involving the flow of heavy fluids or the molecular energy contained within them. Energy thus began to be associated with a system in which entire corporations played the leading role and the production system was centralized. At this point, consumer-generated energy suffered the most. Drives and electrical power began to be controlled by gigantic corporations, artificially controlled through central administrative systems, limiting human freedom, as it came to be necessary to submit to this very type of machine. If everyone had the freedom to choose where they would live and how they would power their devices, then, from an economic and ergonomic perspective, the entire system of social control would collapse, and a new form would emerge, a pure technological landscape in which people, not corporations and governments, finally decide their own fate.

An osmotic pump is a simple device based on the phenomenon of osmotic suction of a liquid such as water. Water has viscosity and surface tension, and these phenomena result from the intermolecular properties of water, which theoretically would make the construction of such devices possible. This type of device utilizes the pressure difference generated by a spherical vessel with osmotic tubes, which draws water in like a sponge, simultaneously creating negative pressure outside the vessel, which can directly cause liquid flow within the device.
