Kardashev's scale

The Kardashev Scale, proposed by Nikolai Kardashev in 1964, illustrates hypothetical levels of civilizational development. As an Earth-based civilization, we currently represent a T-0 civilization. It should be noted, however, that we do not currently belong to any of the development phases on the Kardashev Scale, nor do we even qualify as a Type 1 civilization. A T-0 civilization, as represented by Earth's civilization, has mastered the energy available on its own planet, albeit incompletely. It possesses the ability to record data and build structures, and possesses culture and art. Such a civilization has largely mastered atomic energy and possesses advanced methods of information transfer. However, this type of civilization does not control processes on the planet; it has only begun to utilize them. It should be recalled that, according to the Kardashev scale, a T-1 civilization possesses the total energy of a star reaching Earth, this civilization is controlling thermonuclear fusion has mastered the construction of planetary processors capable of controlling weather, etc. A leap from a T-0 to a T-1 civilization shouldn't be expected before 2100. The capabilities of a T-1 civilization include extensive colonization of its own planetary system, sending probes to neighboring planetary systems, controlling all processes on the planet, etc. A T-2 civilization possesses the energy of an entire star (e.g., Dyson spheres) and interstellar travel. Humanity may not reach this level until the end of this millennium. Next comes a T-3 civilization, capable of harnessing the energy of entire neutron stars and black holes in the galaxy. Higher civilization types range from T-4 to T-7, which possess such fantastic capabilities that they can be compared to divine capabilities. Regardless of how you look at it, human civilization is in its infancy, having not yet reached the T-1 level. Currently, the key to success likely lies in mastering thermonuclear energy through controlled thermonuclear fusion, as in systems such as tokamaks, polywells, or laser thermonuclear fusion. Mastering this type of energy could accelerate the entry into the T-1 stage. Sufficient energy for the development of the global economy would contribute to economic growth and likely eliminate the competition for energy between individual countries, as its quantity would satisfy all demands once a suitable, stable fusion technology was developed. The current situation of competition for energy resources is unhealthy for both the planet's ecosystem and the individual users of these resources. The absurdity of a civilization based on environmental pollution will reach its zenith if civilization delays implementing this energy source.

The mechanics of the future - gravity mastering

A civilization that discovers the key to mastering gravity will be able to control the universe, as the entire universe functions based on gravitational principles, and will gain access to colonizing galaxies rich in various treasures, provided they haven't already been exploited. Only mastering the fundamentals of gravity and utilizing this knowledge in the construction of spacecraft can take humanity beyond the fringes of the solar system; other seriously discussed technologies, such as thermonuclear propulsion or laser beam propulsion, will not be able to achieve this. We must pursue technologies related to gravity phenomena and the related intuition to master gravitational field technology, utilizing the designs and materials available to humanity. We should consider utilizing centrifugal forces in conjunction with electromagnetism, combining magnetism with inertial forces, and so on. Looking back at past decades, we can observe an asymmetry in the development of our civilization. Humanity has entered an advanced stage of computerization without the parallel development of coarser and more intelligent, yet simple, transportation and energy technologies. This could result in us finding ourselves in a virtual world, deprived of the possibility of real life, and without expansion to other planets beyond the solar system. If this were to happen, we would lose the possibility of survival as soon as the energy powering computer systems were cut off. Technology should develop symmetrically, and just as there is diversity in nature, so too should it be preserved in science and technology to ensure peace and prosperity for future generations. To this end, the concept of rocket propulsion should be abandoned, and in the energy sector, a complete shift away from the combustion of carbon-based substances should be implemented, and all this should be done radically?the technologies and means exist to achieve this immediately and irreversibly. People who lose their jobs in the mineral extraction and processing sector must be retrained for other professions, just as people in the energy, administration, and subsistence sectors must be trained for alternative forms of income, including even basic income or life annuities. We must eliminate the overreach of administration over the people who produce the product, moving towards greater automation, and completely eliminate some unnecessary institutions that burden society with taxes. We must strive for a three-dimensionalization of urban planning and transportation systems, abandoning further development of road infrastructure in favor of autonomously and electronically controlled passenger air and space micro-transport. We must consider more intelligent exploration of the solar system and building infrastructure in space. Public transport should be elevated to a higher level of quality and should be preferred over road transport, as road transport is dangerous (hundreds of people die or become disabled in road collisions every day worldwide) and is one of the main polluters of nature and the deterioration of the air we breathe. Transport technology should be developed based on magnetic or gravity propulsion and the use of combustion engines should be completely abandoned. A better world could mean that everyone could board a spaceship and be on the moon in minutes or on Mars in hours. A better life also means that everyone could receive medical attention in the form of a programmable drug that, once injected into the body, will treat the specific condition it was programmed to treat without any other side effects, eliminating all pharmaceutical companies and their competition for consumers. Our civilization seems overwhelmed by the weight of its own existence; it seems that most people lack a broader vision to devote themselves to beyond nurturing their own lives; most people see no need to venture beyond their own cities, let alone to another planet. However, one must have some passions; a passion for life for its own sake may sometimes not be enough. Technology like rockets should not be used to elevate technology to the level of art. Humans are still playing first fiddle on this planet, but the sound of their playing is currently severely limited by their own planet's atmosphere. While many people would board a spaceship and find themselves in the Alpha Centauri system in a few hours, few would actually dare if push came to shove. Many would immediately question what they were doing, abandoning their families, cutting themselves off from the life they knew, and so on. Still others would question whether it was safe or even disbelieve the possibility of interstellar propulsion. However, for now, it appears we only have rocket technology and nothing more. We should investigate how antimatter behaves, to see if it generates antigravity. It is more likely that gravity is a broader phenomenon, one that could combine matter and antimatter into an electrically polarized universe of two opposite natures. In terms of gravity, it is more likely that antimatter generates equally polarized gravity, and the difference in the polarity of atoms has no effect on this property. However, when annihilation destroys both matter, interesting phenomena can occur in terms of the disappearance of gravity. Dark matter (VIMP) may be antigravitational in nature, but it is not identical to antimatter. In the known universe, the laws of nature operate in such a way that it is impossible to isolate oneself from an all-pervasive gravitational field; it affects all states of matter: gas, liquid, and solid, and likely plasma. Current technology lacks any proven and widely deployed shields that can filter or shield this field. It is controversial whether the gravitational field possesses any frequency, noise, or granulation (hypothetical gravitons), and whether it is possible to escape it using frequency modulation techniques, so as to find oneself out of phase with the field. For example, this would enable levitation of vehicles in Earth's gravitational field and propulsion in space, with truly unique technical capabilities. But how can the gravitational field be deceived? In devices based on electromagnetic fields, these devices typically start operating at a single phase, with certain structural elements located in a specific position, which determines the starting point. However, gravity is already on all the time, so if we wanted to "switch off" the field phase, we would have to either use centrifugal forces or other techniques to stretch or compress it to change its frequency, or else cause its time-varying parameters to change as it passes through a medium. At the smallest scale, gravitational forces assume minimal values, far below the detection capability of our measuring instruments. This fact also impacts the overall knowledge of gravity. We don't know what causes gravity in atoms or how these forces can accumulate, creating, for example, universal gravity. In nuclear transformations, these forces are almost completely irrelevant, but certain gravitational phenomena resulting from nuclear transformations may prove crucial for mastering certain technologies related to matter's gravity. It seems that our science has veered too far toward strong interactions, focusing too much on the structure of matter, but this focus has no consequences or impact on our understanding of the principles of gravity. Knowledge of the structure of the atom, atomic nucleus, and nucleons has not yet translated into our civilization's real ability to harness the benefits of gravity. Various reasons can be attributed to this situation, but something went wrong in the development of science, and this has become evident since the beginning of the last century. The path we are following does not lead to answers to the most fundamental questions about the functioning of our universe. Other forms of inquiry and cognitive methods that could provide a foundation for knowledge existed in the past. These led from phenomena in matter, studied for the construction of specific devices, to a deeper understanding of certain phenomena, but these have been isolated and separated from the scientific mainstream.
